Origin, diffusion and economic characteristics

Country of origin: Japan. Eggshell color: brownish to cream.

Morphological characteristics

Small breed of fighter, Shamo type, with strongly raised bearing, fairly long neck, well-muscled body, bird of prey head and poor plumage. Familiar with the breeder, but aggressive enough in the presence of others like it.
Unique coloring: Black.

Medium weight:
- Roosters 2.1 - 2.6 kg
- Hens 1.7 - 2.1 kg

II - TYPE AND ADDRESSES FOR THE SELECTION
Small breed of fighter, Shamo type, with strongly raised bearing, fairly long neck, well-muscled body, bird of prey head and poor plumage. Familiar with the breeder, but aggressive enough in the presence of others like it.

III - STANDARD
General appearance and characteristics of the breed
1- FORM
Trunk: ovoid body; strongly muscled; wide from the shoulders to the legs, then narrower; body holding strongly detected. In the less muscular and longer hen.
Head: medium size; a little stretched.
Beak: short, strong and slightly curved; yellow with dark horn shades.
Big eyes; a little sunken; lively expression; pearl gray, orange color tolerated in young subjects.
Crest: pea on three lines, of medium size and well implanted.
Bargigli: barely visible; however, it is well developed and deep red in color.
Face: not plucked with slightly prominent eyebrows.
Mumps: oval, small and red.
Neck: quite long, slightly curved at the top; cape quite developed and that goes down to the shoulders.
Shoulders: evident, wide, raised and angular.
Back: long enough, flat and falling straight. The plumage of the croup covers the transition well with the tail.
Wings: quite long; well closed and tightened to the body; prominent wing knob; the wing joint is almost non-feathered (wing rosette).
Tail: quite long; relatively open and inclined reach. The sickles are quite developed and completely cover the helmsman.
Chest: wide, very muscular and carried high enough; non-feathered sternum, so that the skin is visible.
Legs: quite long and rounded legs; well muscled; angulation with the tarsus very evident. Pretty long tarsi; not too enlarged; round and with three scale lines; yellow color, darker shades particularly tolerated in hens. Well spread fingers of yellow color; powerful, well-curved nails, white to light horn.
Belly: poorly developed. In the most developed hen.

2 - WEIGHTS

Serious faults: body too strong and coarse; too little muscular body; horizontal posture; short neck; habit too low or too detected; tail too high; wings resting on the back; rounded back; dark-colored iris; head too short or coarse; over-developed wattles; too soft plumage.

3 - PLUMAGE
Conformation: hard, poor and with little down; well tightened to the body.

IV - COLORS

BLACK
Intense and brilliant black.
Serious defects: red or other colored feathers
